A common piece of advice that new Amazon sellers hear is to “go wide, not deep”.
The basic premise is that it’s better to buy a small quantity of multiple items as opposed to buying large quantities of a few items.
If you get burned on a bad buy, it hurts a lot less if it was one item out of twenty instead of one item out of three.
While this advice is well intentioned and I don’t completely disagree with it, there are times where you need to put your foot on the gas and squeeze as much as you can out of a particular product.
