I still think that books are a good starting point for beginners.

That being said, you get to a certain point where you have to spend more time sourcing books because in most cases you can only buy one or two copies at a time.

At scale, shifting into grocery (and arbitrage in general) is a better alternative because you're able to spend more capital with less time investment - you may only make $2.50 profit in one sale as opposed to $20 with books, but if it's a good grocery item you can buy 100 units at once.

It's much easier to spend $500/day on regular arbitrage products than it is on books.

Can you use an in person purchase of 10+ items for ungating purposes or would RA only work after you're ungated?

You need an invoice to get ungated, so my guess would be no unless you have a store in your area that can print a formal invoice for your purchase.
